Females are highly encouraged to apply.ย What we are looking for: The Grants Manager (Consortia) will play a crucial role in ensuring quality programming by managing all grants implemented as part of a Consortia, with NRC is the lead agency or a partner. This includes overseeing internal, donor and partner compliance requirements, ensuring timely and high-quality proposal development, reporting, and facilitating internal and external communications related to respective grants, as delegated by the Head of Programme Support. The role is fully dedicated to managing grants within ongoing and prospective Consortia, and will oversee key mandatory activities under NRCโs Project Cycle Management (PCM) โ including Consortia related due diligence processes, bilateral agreements etc, ensuring all consortia related grants are managed effectively. The Grants Manager will supervise one Grants Coordinator and ensure that NRC Programme and Support teams are fully aware of relevant donor compliance regulations and NRC procedures.ย What you will do:
Generic responsibilities
- Adherence to NRC policies, guidance, and procedures;
- Maintain an overview of all Consortia grants, related donor requirements, rules and regulations, and internal and external deadlines;
- Lead the process of developing donor applications and reports for Consortia projects, as well as ensuring donor compliance and quality control;
- Contribute to the development and revision of funding proposals, budgets, and donor reports for Consortia related grants;
- Be updated on donor priorities and track and share relevant calls for proposals;

Funding Identification and Proposalย Development
- Proposal Development - Responsible for leading the development of high-quality grant proposals and budgets development with the relevant internal stakeholders for all Consortia related funding opportunities, preparing templates and timeline;
Grant Agreement, Donor Reporting and Monitoring
- Review donor contracts, flag any points that might challenge NRCโs procedures, and support contract negotiations for Consortia related projects;
Donor Compliance
- Be familiar with all NRC organisational and donor portfolio compliance requirements and ensure high quality management of grants through meeting of KPIs and deadlines;
General Administration
- Responsible for leading the development of tools and SOPs for efficient Consortia grants management systems, in consultation with relevant internal and external stakeholders;

What you will bring
Generic professional competencies:ย
- At least 5 yearsโ of relevant experience in a related field;
- Experience of donor relations and grants management (e.g. with institutional humanitarian and development donors) in consortia projects;
- Experience working in complex environments, emergency contexts and with displaced populations;ย
- Excellent understanding of donor rules and regulations;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English;ย
- Strong organisational and team management skills;
- Above average computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Windows Word and Excel;
- Proven skills and experience in report and proposal development and working with multiple donors;
- Willingness to travel to area offices according to travel requirements.

- Good cultural awareness and sensitivity;
- Knowledge of the NGO operations and the dynamics of the humanitarian sector;
