We are looking for a Finance Technical Officer to support NRCโs West Bank projects. The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with NRC policies, guidelines, and donor requirements while providing high-quality financial support across all projects.
The Finance Technical Officer will focus on accurate financial management, quality control of supporting documents, budget monitoring, reporting, and building the financial capacity of project staff. The position will also provide technical analysis, support implementing partners, and promote accountability and transparency in line with NRCโs policies and advocacy strategy.
Generic Responsibilities: Supporting Budget Holders in Tracking financial expenditures for WB Projects.Provide financial technical support and capacity building towards project staffProvide financial technical analysis and feedback to NRC representatives in coordination forumsAssess, promote and document ideas for technical improvement and further program development optionsConduct quality control and provide technical support to implementing partners and/or contactorsSpecific Responsibilities:
Accountancy:
Prepare salary posting after receiving project allocations.Prepare invoice posting, postback tools, and fair share allocation.Responsible for weekly and monthly bank reconciliation review for WB office.Take responsibility for the month-end closure, including the WB (BRS) Balance Reconciliation Sheet and submit it to the finance coordinator.Prepare all WB reallocations post-backs in close coordination with the finance coordinator.Budgeting & Reporting:
Provide WB allocation to the accounting unit monthly, following the updated Spending Plan.Check transactions according to the budget versus actual (BvAs) and the eligibility of costs.Preparing Financial Reports to donors.These are skills, knowledge and experience that are important for effective performance.ย
