The Emergency Response Technical Assistant supports the implementation of NRCโs Emergency Response, livelihoods, and cash-based interventions in the Jabel Marra AO. The role includes field activity execution, beneficiary engagement, and coordination with stakeholders. It ensures effective support for distributions, trainings, and data collection in collaboration with the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning team.

Adhere to NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines. Assist with the implementation of the support function portfolio according to plan of action. Prepare and develop status reports as required by management. Ensure proper filing of documents. Promote and share ideas for improvement of the support functionSpecific responsibilities
As assigned by the Emergency Response Coordinator, assist in developing Emergency Response and Cash and Market projects for Tawila and surrounding areas Support beneficiary trainings in Livelihoods and Food Securityย Assist ER officers and coordinator in the implementation of the voucher project for food assistance Implement NRC activities in the field and report accordingly. Prepare weekly reports. Support in coordination with all stakeholders including HAC, INGOs, community leaders, etc. Close follow up on PRs and suppliers while delivering. Support in organizing and managing registration, verification and distribution process. Maintain clear and up to date records of beneficiaries and activities (beneficiary numbers, locations, contact details, activity progress) Help the M&E and program teams to collect baseline and monitoring data by conducting interviews with beneficiaries and key informants. Minimum 1 year of experience from working with livelihoods and food security or cash & market projects in a humanitarian/recovery context with i-NGOs, local NGOs or private sector Fluency in both local languages (English and Arabic) Good understanding of the displacement in Darfur Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
