Generic responsibilities
Ensure adherence to NRC policies and donor requirements,Assist in the development and implementation of education project activities according to the approved project plan.Coordinate with schools, community leaders, and education authorities to facilitate project interventions.Support beneficiary identification, registration, and data management processes.Organize and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and community meetings as required.Monitor project progress, collect data, and prepare regular reports on activities and outcomes.Liaise with partners, government education offices, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.Support logistics and procurement related to project activities.Contribute to the preparation of project documentation, proposals, and donor reports.Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements, and ethical standards.Support in resolving issues and challenges arising during project implementation in the field.ย
Prepare periodic progress reports and other documents as requiredInvestigate and facilitate the introduction of new technology, methods and approaches to improve the quality of the educational activitiesContinuously maintain the effectiveness, efficiency and quality of programmeย A minimum of first degree in education, preferably in Pedagogical science, Educational Psychology, Educational Administration or related etcย ย Experience from working as a Project Officer in a humanitarian/recovery context including skill training and livelihood and food security is an assetย Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contextsDocumented results related to the positionโs responsibilitiesKnowledge about own manager skills/profileย Fluency in English, Amharic, Tigrigna written and verbalย
