Mission and objectivesThe Youth team is embedded in the Governance, Rule of Law and Peacebuilding Hub of UNDP. The team works across pillars, to promote youth empowerment and youth participation, and elevate voices of young people across the world, including in the field of climate action, peacebuilding, and digital action. In partnership with Dwight Hall, Yale's Center for Public Service and Social Justice, UNDP has welcomed 8 Governance, Rule of Law and Peacebuilding (GRP) Fellows. Fellows are Yale undergraduate students who, from mid-May to end-July 2025, joined five thematic teams across the Governance Rule of Law, and Peacebuilding Hub at UNDP. The fellowship aimed to provide UNDP with valuable contributions to its work and Fellows with a real-world learning opportunity. Feedback from the 8 fellows and their supervisors have been captured into short video interviews. The mission consists in producing a short (3mn max) video, fit for social media, compiling the video interview clips of supervisors and fellows who served at UNDP. The final video will serve to showcase the ways in which partnerships between young people and UNDP make the work of development more efficient, effective, and inclusive. The video, which will be shared on the @UNDP4Youth social media (Instagram and X).

Task DescriptionWe are looking for 1 Online Volunteer who under the guidance of UNDP Youth team and in close collaboration with the communications team support us by producing a 3 mn (maximum) video capturing the voices of the 8 fellows and their supervisors. The video will show how the fellowship mutually benefitted young fellows and UNDP experts. The video should include captions and subtitles in English. The design/layout of the video should follow our corporate design guidelines which will be shared with the Online Volunteer in advance. The Online Volunteer will have the opportunity to build connections with the Youth team at UNDP and learn about the ways in which graphic design and social media can support advocacy efforts and youth empowerment.
