PROJECT SUMMARY:

Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) is an eight-year (2019โ€“2027) global health initiative project funded by U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). The project receives Global Health Security (GHS) funding to strengthen global, regional, and local public health systems to effectively prevent, detect, and respond to zoonotic and infectious diseases, building on broad experience and existing capabilities that align with GHS priorities, National Action Plans for Health Security (NAPHS), American First GHS Strategy (AFGHS) and United States Government (USG) goals. EpiC has presence in more than 60 countries and extensive breadth and depth of technical experience in the 10 priority GHS technical areas, FHI 360, and our consortium partners are ready to rapidly implement GHS programming.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and timely transportation services for Staff, Consortium Partners, Consultants, HQ staff on TDY in country, and authorized goods in support of the EpiC GHS program activities in Ghana. The role requires strict adherence to road safety regulations, organizational policies, and security procedures, while maintaining assigned vehicles in good working conditions. The Driver demonstrates a client-oriented approach, high sense of responsibility, courtesy, tact, and the ability to work with people of different national and cultural backgrounds.
