The TeamThe Communications Division, led by the Chief Communications Officer (CCO), oversees the foundationโ€™s global communications strategy. The division unites internal and external communications to advance the foundationโ€™s mission and amplify its impact around the world.

As we enter the next phase of our strategy, we are building a leadership team to deepen our impact. The Internal Communications team plays a vital role in connecting employees to our shared purpose bringing our mission to life, elevating the employee experience, and shaping the culture that defines who we are.

Your Role

As a senior communications leader, the Director, Internal Communications, will define and deliver a bold, human-centered internal communications strategy that informs, inspires, and aligns employees around the foundationโ€™s mission and values, during a defining period of organizational transformation. As the foundation progresses on its journey toward closure in 2045, your leadership will shape how employees experience the foundation, how the organization's culture evolves, and ultimately help define the foundationโ€™s legacy. You will ensure that every stage of our transition is marked by clarity, empathy, and shared purpose.

You will report into the Chief Communications Officer and work in close partnership with members of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), including the Chief People Officer and the Chief Executive Officer, as well as their Chiefs of Staff. You will serve as a trusted strategic advisor on how the CEO and ELT communicates with the foundation around organizational changes, cultural communications and employee engagement. You will help leaders communicate authentically and effectively, building confidence, connection, and trust across a global workforce.

You are a skilled storyteller and coach who combines strategic acumen with emotional intelligence. You know how to navigate sensitive and complex moments with transparency and care, shaping communications that motivate and unite employees around impact and legacy.
