Mission and objectivesThrough its Security Sector Reform and Rule of Law Programme, UNDP Iraq supports the countryโs stabilization and peacebuilding efforts by strengthening the capacities of security and justice institutions, promoting inclusive community policing, empowering women in the police force, and advancing human rightsโbased approaches. The programme provides technical assistance, policy support, and capacity-building to national and local authorities, helping them fulfill their legal and institutional responsibilities while advancing accountability, transparency, and citizen-centered service delivery. UNDP also works in close partnership with civil society and international stakeholders to ensure that reforms are inclusive, sustainable, and responsive to the needs of all Iraqis.
ContextWithin the delegated authority and under the oversight of the Communications Specialist in UNDP Iraq (or his/her Officer-in-Charge), the Online UN Volunteer (Animator/Multimedia Designer) will support the team in producing impactful animated content that communicates key messages of UNDPโs Security Sector Reform and Rule of Law work. The assignment focuses on developing animations and motion graphics tailored for social media platforms, presentations, and campaign videos.
Task DescriptionWe are seeking Online Volunteers who are proficient in animation and multimedia production to: โข Design a unified animation style/visual identity for a joint campaign. โข Develop 3 short animated videos and motion graphics highlighting programme objectives and success stories. โข Create 4 animated social media cards/reels to enhance audience engagement.
