Work LocationHome based Expected duration17/02/25 to 16/10/25 Duties and ResponsibilitiesUnder the supervision of the project officer of the UNDA 15th Tranche ASYREC Project, the consultant will work remotely and will: (a) Analyse and comprehend the above-mentioned recommendations by meetings with the relevant ASYCUDA staff present at the 2024 workshops. (b) Determine the technical impact on the ASYREC application. Draft a list of required system changes to be implemented. (c) Design the recommended new features and refactor the ASYREC source code when necessary to be ready for application-level developments. (d) Development of ASYREC new features and improvements including backend, business rules and user interface. New beta release of ASYREC application is deployed for testing. Source code changes integrated into the repository and new beta release of ASYREC application ready for testing and deployment. (e) Testing of beta release of ASYREC including previous and new features. Database of issues based on outcome of test. Qualifications/special skillsA first university degree, Bachelor, in engineering or an equivalent is required At least 5 years of IT experience with Customs automation for governmental institutions is required.
