Result of ServiceThe consultant will contribute to the efficient reinforcement and support of ASYCUDAWorld in Sudan. Work LocationHome Based Expected duration15.06.25 to 14.12.25 Duties and ResponsibilitiesUnder the supervision of the project officer of DTL/ASP, and in collaboration with an expert in Geneva, the consultant will assist an ASYCUDA technical expert to develop/program specific data exchange mechanisms and modules for Sudan Customs. She/He will: - Design and code the new vehicle clearance module for integration into ASYCUDAWorld Sudan including a First part to design and require the analysis of the Customs IT and functional Team. Second part to develop the module in compliance with the existing Customs IT environment. Third part to assist an ASYCUDA technical expert to test the above with the stakeholders. - Develop the module of the ASYCUDAWorld Sudan test environment. Qualifications/special skillsA first university degree, Bachelor, in engineering is required. Experience of Java Programming language, Linux Operating System is required At least 2 years of IT experience with customs automation for governmental institutions is required. LanguagesFluency written and spoken in Arabic is required. Knowledge of English is desirable. Additional InformationNot available.
