Country Programmes Manager- Solomon Islands

Plan International is a rights-based development and humanitarian organisation working for better lives for all children. We have been building powerful partnerships for children for more than 80 years, and are now active in more than 70 countries. Plan International began working in the Pacific in 2012 and has offices and staff in Pacific (SI) and PNG, in Bougainville and has an established regional office in Suva, Fiji.

Plan International Pacific is seeking to hire a full time: Country Programme Manager – Solomon Islands who will leads the design, delivery, operations, and influence of Plan International’s programme in the Solomon Islands. This role ensures programmes are grounded in the local context, advancing child rights and gender equality in line with the priorities of Solomon Islands communities.

While the primary focus is on leading the Solomon Islands programme and operations, the post holder also provides strategic oversight, coordination and management support to Plan International’s programmes in Papua New Guinea and Fiji, contributing to the Pacific-wide ambition.
