The Development and Outreach Department of Human Rights Watch (โHRWโ) is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of Coordinator in its Paris office to provide fundraising, outreach, coordination, and administrative assistance to the team. The Paris office serves as an important base for HRWโs development, fundraising, and outreach activities in France. This position is full-time at 39 hours per week and reports to the Development and Outreach Associate Director based in Paris. This position must be based within commuting distance of the Paris office and is expected to work from the office as needed.
Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate and timely recording of all campaigns, appeals, gifts and contact information on Sales Force and providing reports when necessary; Provide administrative support including scheduling, preparing for and taking minutes at meetings, preparing agendas and background materials, processing mail, responding to inquiries, translating documents, proofreading, and making travel arrangements; Coordinate and organize the logistics and execution of logistics for outreach and cultivation events in Paris, including HRW's annual Voices for Justice dinner, conferences and privately hosted dinners; Prepare, draft, edit, format, and distribute various materials for both internal and external use, including content for newsletters, social media for donors, mails, and presentations; Act as a liaison, maintaining active communication with other departments and project stakeholders, responding to general inquiries from both the public and internal teams; Assist in coordinating and mentoring interns and assistants as needed; Provide support to the team by assisting with donor research and profiles as needed; and Perform other tasks as may be required.Qualifications:
Education: A bachelorโs degree or equivalent working experience in communications, business administration, international relations, events management, or a related field is required.
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience and demonstrated success in coordinating events is required.
Required Skills and Knowledge:

Salary and Benefits: HRW seeks exceptional applicants and offers comprehensive compensation and employer-paid benefits. The salary range for this position is EUR 41,000 โ 42,000.
