Background:

Context of the Project:

UN Womenโ€™s Womenโ€™s Economic Empowerment Unit focuses on approaches to provide comprehensive solutions for marginalized young women and women to return to education, upskill themselves and establish enterprises. Through its various projects/interventions in the areas of education, employment and entrepreneurship, including focus on climate and climate technologies, WEE offers women, their families, local communities with benefits tailored to their needs as learners and earners.ย 

Under the direct supervision of the Programme Analyst, WEE (CORE), the Programme Associate will support in management of financial and administrative activities of the programme, coordinate with relevant team members including the operations team, implementing partner organisations and other stakeholders as necessary, to support successful implementation of Programmes.ย
