Work LocationGaza Expected duration6 to11 months Duties and Responsibilities• Work closely with the business to understand and analyse the data requirements, and translate it into user stories in the assigned sprint(s). • Provide analytics on layering datasets in a visually compelling manner, and design prototypes. • Build new Power BI reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop. • Review, improve, and manage the existing BI reporting solutions. • Proactively integrate new technologies for more advanced analytics including and not limited to PowerFlow, and PowerApps. • Design and implement statistical data quality procedures around new data sources. • Perform sanity checks and unit testing of reports; participate in end-user testing for bug fixing and issues resolution. • Liaise with other operation teams to provide recommendations on performance, security, and user interface. • Develop documentation, training materials and conduct training sessions when needed. • Communicate plans, status, and issues with project management. • Perform other IMT related duties as required. Qualifications/special skillsAcademic Qualifications: A university degree or master's degree from an accredited educational institution in information technology, information management, Information systems, computer science, computer engineering, Software engineering, Business Administration, Management, or other related disciplines. Experience: • A minimum of two years’ work experience in software applications development and implementation. • Experience in building Reports and Dashboards using Microsoft Power BI • Proficient with SQL, and Experienced with DAX • Experienced in Power BI service on Microsoft Azure. • Good Experienced in SSIS, SQL Server on Premise. • Knowledge of the full Microsoft Analytics and Reporting stack, including SSRS, PowerPivot, PowerBuilder, PowerApps COMPETENCIES • Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports • Self-driven individual with a bias for action and a passion for analytics • Strong client-facing written and oral communications skills • High degree of initiative, dependability, and ability to work with little supervision. • High level of personal integrity, as well as the ability to professionally handle confidential matters, and show an appropriate level of judgment and maturity. • Eager to Learn & Adapt to Newer Technologies. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS • Microsoft certifications with SSIS or other ETL tools. Language: ● Fluent in spoken and written English. Service Conditions: ● The duration of the consultancy is 6 to 11 months, extendable according to performance and availability of funds. ● Remuneration for this consultancy will be USD 1,259.40 plus 8.33% advanced termination indemnity, depending on fund availability, qualifications, and relevant experience.
