Project Context and Scope
The Innovation Working Group (IWG), established in 2024, is a key initiative under IOM Iraq to foster a culture of innovation across its operations. The group aims to enhance creativity and collaboration within IOM and with external partners, including other IOM missions, UN agencies, academia, government institutions, and local stakeholders.
IWG facilitates cross-divisional learning exchanges, promotes knowledge sharing, and documents innovative practices. It encourages staff participation through idea-sourcing platforms, innovation challenges, and hackathons, while also supporting skill development via structured training in innovation tools and methodologies.
To guide its work and strengthen internal capacity, the IWG seeks a qualified consultant or company to develop a practical Innovation Roadmap and deliver a 3-day in-person workshopย for around 20 IOM staff tailored to the needs of IOM Iraq staff.

Proven experience in facilitating innovation workshops or strategic planning sessions.
Education, Experience and/or skills required
Proven experience in facilitating innovation workshops or strategic planning sessions. Strong understanding of innovation methodologies and practical roadmap development. Experience working in similar cultural and organizational contexts is preferred. Proven track record with international organizations or NGOs (for companies, at least two similar projects) At least 5 years of relevant experience in roadmap development and innovation training Excellent facilitation and communication skills and Strong facilitation, coaching, and English presentation skills ย Languages IOMโs official languages are English, French and Spanish.
