Result of ServiceThis exercise will: โข Ensure traceability of donated assets. โข Establish a reliable database for future asset management. โข Prevent losses or inappropriate use of donated equipment Work LocationMALI Expected duration2 calendar months Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe United Nations Resident Coordinatorโs Office (RCO) in Mali is seeking a consultant to conduct a comprehensive inventory and establish a consolidated list of equipment donated by MINUSMA, ensuring transparent and accountable management of these assets. The consultant will be responsible for the following tasks: โข Collect and analyze available documents (donation lists, handover minutes, delivery notes, etc.). โข Conduct a physical inventory of the donated equipment in Bamako and Gao. โข Verify compliance between documentary records and actual assets. โข Establish a consolidated database of inventoried assets. โข Produce a detailed final report, including the validated inventory list. The consultant will report to the head of the RCO Mali office. Qualifications/special skillsMaster's degree (or equivalent) in accounting, management, administration, logistics, or related fields. 5 years of proven experience in asset management, physical inventory, and database development is required. Strong knowledge of administrative and financial procedures in international organizations is desirable. Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Word) is required. Demonstrated rigor, organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines is required. Ability to constitute and manage a small support team for inventory work is desirable.
