Work LocationSantiago Expected durationone year Duties and ResponsibilitiesUnder the supervision of the Senior Social Affaris Officer, the consultant will carry out the following activities: 1. Assists in the organisation of expert group meetings, seminars and conferences on issues related to inequality and digital inclusion in the framework of the digital transformation. 2. Data Collection and Statistical Analysis of Digital Inclusion Indicators 3. Researches, collects and organizes information and reference materials from various sources for reports, work plans, studies, briefings, meetings/conferences, etc. 4. Attends international, regional or national meetings on issues of digital inclusion and inequality. 5. Contributes to technical studies on artificial intelligence applied in education, and other dimensions of inclusive social development. 6. Performs other related duties as required, including various administrative tasks necessary for the final delivery of the work unit's services and participation in staff meetings. Qualifications/special skillsAn advanced university degree (Master's or Doctorate degree or equivalent) in economics, statistics, sociology, or related area is required. A minimum of three years of progressively experience in analytic research is required. Prior experience working in Latin American and Caribbean countries is desirable. Experience systematizing and analyzing statistical data is desirable. Experience in Artificial Intelligence and Social Development is desirable.
