The Global Green Growth Institute internship program provides a unique learning opportunity for students and recent graduates from diverse academic backgrounds. The program is designed for talented and motivated individuals skilled in areas relevant to GGGIโs operations. The program allows selected candidates to gain insight into the work of the Institute and provides assistance and training in various professional fields in a multicultural environment. CURRENT OPPORTUNITY
The assignment will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Support GGGIโs annual report development. Assist in preparing and publishing content on GGGIโs Pacific social media platforms and maintaining a consistent flow of audience-relevant content (i.e., Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook) Provide support in preparing for GGGIโs external weekly newsletter, support gathering content input from Pacific and regional offices, and support with layout and distribution. Support the Communications Unit (HQ) with communications work around GGGIโs upcoming events, conferences, and workshops, including the design of branding and other conference materials and the distribution of these through the most appropriate channels. Assist in preparing communications materials (i.e., brochures, reports, and publications) Assist in collecting, editing, and storing/archiving pictures and videos. Conduct media research relevant to GGGI programs, including on media consumption and social and behavior change communication trends. Support with the administrative function of the GGGI Pacific regional office Support GGGIโs knowledge sharing flagship event โ Global Green Growth Week 2025
ELIGIBILITY
Applicants to the GGGI internship program must at the time of application meet the following requirements:
Be enrolled in a Bachelorโs (final year), Masterโs or PhD program prior to an internship assignment, or a recent graduate within the last 12 months. Be engaged or recently engaged in academic study in a field directly related to the Instituteโs work. Possess an excellent command of English.
QUALIFICATION
An academic background, or professional experience in communications, media, marketing, or graphic design would be desirable. Knowledge and experience using digital platforms for social change (Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn Instagram). Some experience in Microsoft 365application, particularly SharePoint, is desirable. Excellent written and spoken English.
REPORTING LINE
The intern will work under the general guidance of the GGGI Senior Regional Programs Officer and Communications and Knowledge Sharing Officer in Fiji, in collaboration with other GGGI staff. They are expected to use their equipment to complete all deliverables and will be required to travel as part of the assignment, with all travel expenses covered by GGGI.
SELECTION PROCESS
