Under the direct supervision of the Communications Coordinator in Brasรญlia, the candidate is expected to produce compelling and engaging communication and advocacy content for web and print, including factsheets, reports, folders, social media content, and visibility products, among others. The candidate will contribute to the implementation of creative communication strategies.
ย
- Create design elements and layouts of key flagship publications, website and social media content, infographics, and maps highlighting IOM activities in Brazil.
- Assist in producing and planning IOM Brazilโs social media products
- Produce newsletters, reports, photographs, and other promotional material printed or digital.ย
- Prepares products for production and distribution, including print and digital output.
- Ensures timely dissemination of promotional and communications materials on the national website, as well as other media channels.
- Provides overall support with research and fact-checking to produce communication material.ย
- Establishes and maintains an up-to-date repository file for communication materials including publications, press releases, clipping, photographs, audio, and visual products.ย
- Liaise with graphic designers and other vendors to develop, produce, and print materials.
- Stays abreast of new design and social media trends and delivers create and innovative ideas.
- Edits low complexity videos and clips produced by the team.
- Ensure all communication materials are under the general branding IOM manual, and specific projects branding manual.
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned Education
- High School Diploma, with a minimum of 4 (four) years of relevant work experience; or
- University Degree in Graphic design, Social Communication, or related areas by an accredited university, with a minimum of 2 (two) years of relevant work experienceAccredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.
ย Experience- A minimum of four years of relevant experience in Communication.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, and CapCut are required.ย
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to prepare clear and concise products.
- Knowledge in the field of migration is an advantage.
