    Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship

    As Communications Analyst you will be assigned to the Office of the Principal Director (DCOD) of the Department of Communications and Knowledge Management (DOCK).

    The position will be based at our Headquarters in Manila, Philippines. You will report to the designated International Staff and/or Officer (as applicable).

    Your Role

    As a Communications Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting DOCK's President's Support Team (PST). Your responsibilities will include coordinating various communication efforts, supporting content production, and identifying new opportunities for content production. You will provide administrative and logistical support to the team to ensure smooth and well-coordinated operation.

    You will:

  • Coordinate and assist in the production of communications materials as required by the PST. This includes editing statements, key messages, talking points, multimedia products, press releases, blogs, opinion articles, and feature articles.
Identify opportunities to create engaging social media posts and other digital content for the PST. Provide logistical and administrative support to both International Staff and Senior National Staff within the PST. Contribute to the development and generation of tracking and monitoring reports, measure the performance and impact of communication in coordination with relevant DOCK units. Perform other related tasks assigned by your immediate supervisor, and reflected in the work plan.

Qualifications

You will need:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Policy/Relations, International Development or related field At least 5 years of relevant work experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Digital and social media experience will be an advantage Excellent organizational skills; able to handle numerous responsibilities simultaneously Please refer to the link for ADB Competency Framework for TL3

Additional Information

This appointment is open to internal and external applicants.

This is a fixed-term appointment for an initial fixed period of 3 years. At the end of the initial period, this appointment may, at the option of ADB, be extended once for up to 2 years, converted to a regular appointment, or ended on its expiration date. This decision will be made in the overall interest of ADB that: (a) it will require Staff's particular blend of skills and experience in the foreseeable future; and (b) Staff's performance is satisfactory and they are suitable for further employment.
