Climate-smart Education Systems Initiatives (CSESI) Regional Coordinator

Climate change is one of the principal development challenges of the twenty-first century. Climate Change affects vulnerable children and communities. Be part of the Climate-smart Education Systems Initiative (CSESI) to help shape resilient education systems across Pacific Island Countries.

A place to make a difference:

In this maximum term (18 months) full time position , based preferably in the Pacific, you will be responsible for leading project delivery of CSESI work program priorities in the Pacific, particularly drive a localised approach to activities focused on cross-sectoral coordination, access to climate finance, safer and greener school infrastructure, and enhanced school safety and continuity. You will play a key role in advancing climate-resilient education strategies, supporting national ministries, and fostering partnerships to ensure safe, inclusive, and sustainable learning environments across Pacific Islands countries.

You will be part of our Pacific regional team and report to our Pacific Program Operations Advisor.

You have significant experience producing media and communication products. You are passionate and proactively profile Save the Children’s mission in the Pacific. Your technical knowledge will be coupled with experience of delivering high quality stories of impact/change and multimedia products for media and marketing purpose.
