Responsibilities: Lead $1.1B non-profitโs global financial and operational strategy including Corporate Finance and Administration functions, Global Financial Operations, Business Partnering, Treasury, Awards Management, Internal Audit, Supply Chain, Shared Services, Digital, Legal, Safety & Security and Risk Management functions. Requires constant balancing of Corporate and Board level financial matters, field operational support, and risk management to ensure overall financial health and condition. Specific responsibilities include: Serve as member of Executive Leadership Team, contributing to strategy and execution across the organization, develop business and operational plans, maintain governance over investment priorities, cost structures and control systems for the organization; and ensure financial operations are efficient and in line with corporate goals and values; Support CEO and Executive team in developing aspirational goals and strategies through trend analysis, investigating of new opportunities and financial tools, and analyzing capabilities while advising on financial implications of business activities and decisions including relevant trends, forecasts, risks and opportunities, to the CEO, the Board, and other executives; Oversee annual budgeting and forecasting, monitor revenue and expenses, and enforce budget accountability while maintaining and updating financial, digital, administrative, and grants & contracts policies; Oversee all CARE investment and portfolio performance; Guide social investment and other enterprise development activities including with CARE subsidiaries; Maintain and implement plans for talent development and succession management of finance, award management and administration staff across the organization. *Remote work is permissible, in-office presence as needed. *Supervises the work of Chief Executives and Lawyers. Requirements: Masterโs in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or foreign equivalent. 10 years of experience in financial and operational support roles with large global companies or organizations, including 5 years in an executive senior leadership position. Previous experience must include: Leading Legal, Digital, Supply Chain operations and Safety and Security operations; Leading global transformation projects, e.g., ERP, Supply Chain, HRIS and other large scale digital platforms; Leading and mentoring other CFOs in a global confederation setting; Managing social ventures and blended finance mechanism; Financial management to enable company to achieve stretch goals and rebound from a crisis; USAID compliance, fund accounting and cost recovery in a nonprofit setting; Reporting to, working with, or as a member of a Board of Directors; Driving financial sustainability at country offices and regional operations; Global humanitarian and development sector; and Growing and diversifying the fundraising portfolios. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification or equivalent foreign certification issued by a recognized professional accounting body, required. International travel to program sites/meetings required up to 25% - 30% of the time, required.
