Job Overview: The Casework Coordinator provides trauma-informed services to refugees and other ORR-eligible immigrants to support successful resettlement and long-term self-sufficiency. This role combines direct client support with responsibility for coordinating and overseeing the delivery of resettlement casework services. The Coordinator manages a team of caseworkers, ensures compliance with program standards, and collaborates with colleagues and community partners to connect clients with resources.

Coordinate pre-arrival case preparation, including case assurance, communication with U.S. ties, and liaising with IRC headquarters processing teams. Assign new cases to caseworkers and ensure timely delivery of core services (airport pickups, home visits, school enrollment, public benefits, etc.). Provide oversight of case files and ensure accurate, timely documentation in compliance with donor and IRC standards. Maintain a reduced caseload of clients, ensuring direct services are provided to meet mandated requirements. Supervise caseworkers, providing coaching, daily guidance, performance feedback, and support for professional growth. Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective internal and external referrals and coordinated service delivery. Support program reporting by reviewing and preparing compliance documentation and contributing to donor reports. Foster a respectful, inclusive environment for staff and clients, ensuring adherence to IRC policies, safeguarding, and ethical service delivery. Education:
Bachelorโs degree in social work or related field required; Masterโs degree preferred.Work Experience:
At least 3 years of case management experience in a social services environment. Experience supervising or leading teams strongly preferred. Experience working with vulnerable or underserved populations.Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:
Language Skills:
Proficiency in English required; bilingual ability in Spanish, Dari, Swahili, Kinyarwanda, Arabic, French, or other refugee/immigrant language preferred.Certificates or Licenses:
Valid driverโs license, active insurance policy, and access to reliable transportation. Must possess or be eligible for a fingerprint clearance card per Arizona state law.Working Environment
A combination of standard office environment, remote work, and โfieldโ time within the service delivery area to perform the above outlined responsibilities. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required.
