The Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI) is seeking a full-time Coordinator for supporting the delivery of its capacity building and training (CBT) programs and activities.
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and implementation of CBT programs (online, e-learning, and onsite), particularly those in partnership with the Japan Railway Technical Service (JARTS) and the Gates Foundation, under the supervision of task manager Communicate with internal and external stakeholders (government officials, development partners, and experts) in ADB member countries and ADBI network in support of the assigned programs or activities Organize conferences associated with Calls for Papers, Call for Policy Papers and publication projects Draft event summary and/or prepare internal reports and analysis related to the outcomes and/or the impact of the assigned programs/events, and other documents with task manager(s) Support the preparation of presentations and speeches for senior staff Coordinate publication process for CBT knowledge products (e.g., books, policy briefs, blogs) in collaboration with the ADBI Publication team Help to maintain and update database of ADBI key counterparts Perform other tasks arising from time to time at the direction of task manager and/or Deputy Dean, ADBI.Requirements
Masterโs degree or its equivalent in economics or engineering or international development. At least 2 years of relevant professional experience on infrastructure (transport, urban development, water and sanitation) experience with an international organization will be an advantage. Well-developed research and reviewing skills, and the ability to produce high quality presentations, reports and analysis. Proficient in MS Office 365 Applications Excellent organization, intercultural, interpersonal, and communication skills Able to work collaboratively with teams as a constructive team member Excellent oral and written communication skills in English Currently residing in Japan and holding a valid work visaApplication Procedure

Appointment Terms
The position starts with a one-year contract with a possibility for renewal based on performance and ADBIโs needs for the position to deliver the outputs under the partnerships with the Gates Foundation and/or JARTS. The CBT Coordinator serves as an independent contractor in a personal capacity, he/she is neither an officer nor staff of ADBI. The position provides a base salary and leave benefits but not social insurances. He/she will work under the direct supervision of ADBI professional staff and the overall guidance of the Deputy Dean (CBT and Special Activities).
