ContextThe Civic Engagement SparkBlue page will be a dedicated community space to showcase UNDPโs work on civic engagement, highlight lessons learned, and share practical resources. It aims to connect colleagues and partners across countries and regions, fostering dialogue, collaboration, and knowledge exchange on how to strengthen civic space and democratic resilience.
Task DescriptionWe are looking for an online volunteer who, under the guidance of the Civic Engagement Policy Specialist and Programme Analyst within the UNDP Open and Inclusive Public Sphere Portfolio (UNDP) will support the development of a visual identity and branding of the Sparkblue page on Civic Engagement. The platform is a go-to space for colleagues and externals to share, connect, and learn about civic engagement. Task description In particular, the online volunteer is asked to: โข Familiarize themselves with key concepts of UNDPโs work on civic engagement within the open and inclusive public sphere โข Design and develop the following branding materials o Logo Design: Create a modern and inclusive logo o Visual identity: develop a cohesive set of elements, including color schemes/palette, typography and graphic styles to be used across posts and materials published on the platform. โข Produce 2-3 adjustable communication templates (e.g. for posting publications, events, webinars etc.) The online volunteer will have the opportunity to build connections with the Governance Team at UNDP and learn more about the ways in which the team works to promote just, peaceful and inclusive societies.
