Project Context and Scope
ย Emergency response in Slovakia to displacement caused by the conflict in Ukraine.ย The emergency response programme addresses the multi-sectoral critical needs of people fleeing ongoing hostilities in Ukraine

Provide consultancy assistance in the implementation of project activitiesย
- Support operationalization of the cash-based mechanism to address the basic needs of the beneficiaries
- Provide critical technical support to the project team and the Implementing partner
- Conduct a monitoring field trip minimum once a monthย
- Support in reporting and with ad hoc information requests from the donorย
- Retrieve, compile, summarize, and present critical life-saving information/data on specific project topics in the context of the Emergency Response to the Ukraine Crisis under the Framework of the Regional Response Plan 2025 โ 2026
- Draft status reports, correspondence, briefing notes, graphics, statistical tables, presentations, and other forms of documentation.
- Respond to general information requests and inquiries; set up and maintain files/records.ย
- Perform other related duties as assigned. ย Performance indicators for the evaluation of results
- Deliverables are completed according to shared instructions.

- Bachelor's degree in social sciences or related fields Experience
- Humanitarian and/ or international development background โ an advantage;
- Ability to take initiative and act with autonomy;
- Personal commitment, efficiency and drive for results, ability to work effectively and harmoniously within assigned team as well as in cross-cultural work environment
- Attention to detailย Skills
- Strong writing, reporting and communication skills;
- Computer skills: MS Office moderately advanced; Familiarity with Teams and Zoom communication platform Languages
- Knowledge of English language - required, Slovak language โ an advantage IOMโs official languages are English, French and Spanish. Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments. ย Travel required
