Duties and ResponsibilitiesUnder the supervision of the project coordinator, in the context of the implementation of the business facilitation programme, in close coordination with national and international experts, the consultant will be entrusted with the following tasks: 1. Conduct presentations on the methodology of simplification and automation of public services in English and Arabic. 2. Participate in the identification of the procedures to be automated, in coordination with the national counterparts and conduct research on the corresponding rules and regulations. 3. Create a common online workspace to store research results and summary of regulations. 4. Based on the regulations and application forms, build the applicantโs interface (part A) of the selected service using the eRegistrations system comprising the following screens: a)list of registrations, b)list of requirements, c)costs, d) applicantโs guide page, e) single form, d)documents upload page, e) review and submit page. 5. Database for storing applicantโs data created using the eRegistrations systemโs Generic Database Builder (GDB) Qualifications/special skillsAcademic Qualifications: A first level university degree, Bachelor or higher, in Business Information Technology, Communications, Engineering, Business Administration or related fields, is required. Experience: At least 7 years experience in fields related to information management and project management, are required. Experience of work with the implementation of UNCTAD eRegulations/eRegistrations systems is desirable. LanguagesFluency in written and spoken English is required. Knowledge of Arabic is desirable.
