Job Overview/Summary:
The IT-Data team is seeking a Business Analyst (BA) to support the Data Transformation Working Group in identifying and standardizing key business definitions. The agreed-upon definitions are then formalized and deployed into the Enterprise Data Catalog, ensuring a single source of truth. This directly supports AI initiatives by providing models with consistent, well-governed terminology, helping improve data quality, accuracy, and the ability to explain AI outcomes. This role acts as a translator between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business terms, data definitions, and governance requirements are accurately reflected in Databricks data models and analytics platforms.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Management, or related experience.Work Experience:
Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst providing high quality and advanced analytics for a complex, large not-for-profit organization and/or equivalent analytics experience in private sector marketing and sales Proven track record in leveraging leading-edge digital tools, providing advanced analytical reports, and proactively working to help promote data-driven strategic insights Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders. Knowledge of process improvement tools like Visio. Non-profit and international humanitarian aid experience a plusDemonstrated Skills and Competencies:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent technical skills, including strong experience with SQL, complex relational databases, BI tools, and data visualization. Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to devise creative solutions to complex problems and issues. Demonstrated ability to maintain positive, collaborative, productive relationships with diverse key stakeholders across the organization. Strong communications skills with the ability to listen and converse effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues on reporting analysis and insights.
