A place to make a difference:

In this full-time, maximum term (5 years) role, you’ll work as a part of our Climate Change Division (CCD) team (preferably home-based between the African & Southeast Asian timezones with easy access to an international airport) to help us create lasting change for children everywhere. You’ll work remotely from home when not delivering programs or attending meetings,

The Project Manager: Building the Climate Resilience of Children and Communities through the Education Sector (BRACE) plays an important role in delivering on our vision of a better world for children.

Reporting to BRACE lead, you will work on coordinating the implementation of BRACE within Save the Children Australia’s Climate Change Division. Working alongside Save the Children country offices you will be part of a multidisciplinary climate and education team.

You will make a difference by:

· Project management of BRACE using project management tools and developing new and additional tools to support effective implementation

· Supporting the effectively delivery of project activities in countries by providing high quality support to the BRACE team lead and in-country leads

· Liaising with operations colleagues including finance and awards to ensure smooth and effective implementation of BRACE

· Being our cornerstone for the effective delivery of this exciting project!

You have experience of project coordination and management, with a strong understanding of operations, including finance, budgeting and award management. You have a strong interest in climate change and education and thrive in a team environment where you can facilitate strong coordination and collaboration, setting up systems to deliver projects to high quality. You’re a great problem solver, and you enjoy the opportunity to bring creative solutions and process improvements to the table. You're pragmatic, efficient, intuitive and are comfortable taking ownership and responsibility when it's required. You’re comfortable working from home and engaging with teams across all time zones.

This role requires:

· Experience of working as a Project Manager with demonstrable experience of supporting the successful and timely delivery of projects or initiatives

· Strong skills in interpersonal communication, collaboration and facilitation

· Demonstrated skills in planning, organising, and coordinating team members and resources, with experience of finance and budgeting

· Exposure to and understanding of Agile project management principles and the use of AI, and extensive experience of working on SharePoint, team Office 365.

· Flexibility and ability to work out of hours to engage with colleagues in the Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia and Oceania.
