Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship
The position of Associate Treasury Officer is assigned to the Treasury Services Division within the Treasury Department. You will be based at our Headquarters in Manila, Philippines.
You will report to designated International Staff and senior officer.
Your Role
As an Associate Treasury Officer, you will provide analytical and technical support in (i) managing ADB's global banking relationships; (ii) supervising bank account administration; and (iii) performing database management.
You will:
- Ensure that new accounts are opened when requested by teams, after conducting comparative analysis of potential banks.
Qualifications
You will need:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or other related disciplines, preferably with advanced training. At least 5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in the management of bank relationships Solid knowledge of international payment systems, foreign currencies/ international financial instruments and related transaction processes, international banking practices and regulatory environment, and local regulations and banking landscape. Proficiency in specialized Treasury-related software. Experience handling negotiations to reach agreements Proficiency in English.
