Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship
The position of Associate Knowledge Management Officer is assigned to the Office of the Principal Director (DCOD) within the Department of Communications and Knowledge Management (DOCK). You will be based at our Headquarters in Manila, Philippines.
You will report to the Advisor, DOCK.
Your Role
As an Associate Knowledge Management Officer, you will support the Advisor and the Principal Knowledge Management Specialist in coordinating the daily business of the knowledge and innovation management services and administering knowledge management and innovation-related technical assistance (TAs).
You will:
a. Technical Assistance (TA) Administration
- Administer the knowledge management and innovation related TAs.
b. Training and Development
Coordinate with BPCT to deliver applied innovation management trainings related learning and development (L&D) programs. Organize and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars. Help coordinate design thinking, futures thinking and foresight activities. Help integrate foresight techniques into relevant business processes and projects.c. Knowledge Management
Capture and document innovation management-related knowledge, for example in case studies, presentation material. Maintain an organized repository of knowledge resources and best practices. Coordinate the Innovation Speakers Series, including scheduling, logistics, and communication with speakers. Ensure smooth execution of interdisciplinary workshops, events and follow-up activities and support teams across the bank in knowledge sharing events.d. Innovation Hub Coordination
e. Support to International Staff
Assist international staff in developing an organizational innovation management framework and governance approach. Provide administrative and logistical support.Qualifications
You will need:
Bachelorโs degree in innovation management, knowledge management, social sciences, business administration, public administration or related fields, preferably with advanced training. At least 5 years of relevant professional experience but 15 years of professional experience Proficiency in knowledge management and innovation management tools and techniques. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with diverse partners. Strong organizational and project management skills. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Work collaboratively in a multicultural environment. Please refer to the link for ADB Competency Framework for TL4.
