Present in 26 countries, the SI teams โ€“ 3200 people in total, made up of expatriates, national staff, permanent staff at HQ, and a few volunteers - intervene with professionalism and commitment while respecting cultural norms.

    About the mission

SOLIDARITร‰S INTERNATIONAL has resumed its programs in Afghanistan in December 2021 and has initially established a presence in Bamyan, Kapisa, Wardak and Kabul provinces. SI currently implements integrated WASH and FSL programs and aims at scaling them up in 2025 and 2026. There are currently 5 grants under implementation (1 CDCS, 2 ECHO, 2 AHF).

SI is exploring several new programmatic areas, requiring thorough needs assessment to better understand the existing needs and gaps, in order to support SI positioning for 2025/2026.
