FAD Fiscal Operations 2 Division (FADF2) seeks a qualified candidate to fill the role of Administrative Coordinator/Lead Administrative Coordinator. The Division focuses on Francophone and Lusophone Africa, the Asia and Pacific Department, and the European Department. In addition, the analytical work of the division currently focuses on climate change policy assessments, the integration of adaptation to climate change into macro-fiscal policy, and the financing of the SDGs.
The (Lead) Administrative Coordinator for FADF2 will be responsible for setting priorities and supervising the administrative work of the division. He/she will need to handle and/or oversee a variety of documents that are produced by the division, including technical assistance reports, technical notes, memoranda, correspondence letters, and compound documents (comprising text, tables, and charts), which may require use of specialized software. The selected candidate will provide direct administrative support to the division's management team, and facilitate the scheduling and tracking of work within the division.
Qualifications:
Educational development, typically acquired by the completion of a high school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by a minimum of six years of relevant experience, is required. External candidates must have spent at least two of the six required years of experience in a lead role.
In addition to the qualifications stated above and in the job standards, the selected candidate should have the ability to establish effective working relationships and to supervise and train junior Administrative Coordinators. He/she should have excellent organizational, supervisory, and administrative support skills. The selected candidate should be able to work under minimal supervision, exercise initiative, and be flexible with regards to working hours and overtime. He/she should have sound judgment and experience with the Fund's administrative policies and practices. The selected candidate should possess the ability to quickly learn FADโs internal processes and procedures, work under pressure, manage a complex workload often under tight deadlines, handle overlapping requests, and coordinate the administrative work of the assistants' team in the division.
Previous work experience in an area department would be an asset. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
Spanish and/or French language skills are required.
This vacancy shall be filled by a 3-year Term appointment in accordance with the Fundโs new employment rules that took effect on May 1, 2015.

Candidates must have passed the Fund's Office Assistant exam to be considered.
