Job Summary:
You will provide service in the day-to-day delivery of responsive, effective and efficient administrative activities in support of the Catholic Relief Servicesโ (CRS) mission to serve the poor and vulnerable. You will provide consistent and high-quality service and contribute to the proper stewardship of resources to help ensure operational effectiveness in support of high-quality programming.
Roles and Key Responsibilities:ย
Job Responsibilities:ย
Prepare payment requests as and when requiredย Follow up the timely cash requests from PDP / Field offices, prepare the request for approval and following up with finance for the timely transfer of the requested cash.ย ย ย Follow up & Communicate with PDP / Field office staff for the timely liquidation report, check the report and submit to Field Office Manager for the final review & approval.ย Follow up and communicate for the efficient use of PDP / Field office assets, including available office spaces and facilities.ย ย Participate with Logistics team in warehouse assessment to organize and maintain lists of warehouse service providers in all PDP / Field Office areas.ย Conduct on time communication with the security guard companies for any request from Logistics to deploy guards, to inform the company when warehouse contract is to be terminated, and for any other related issues. Receive monthly security guardโs performance report from each PDP / Field Offices and provide monthly service confirmation for the Head Office Admin team to facilitate the payment.ย Conduct on time communication with the cleaning service providing companies for any request from Logistics to deploy cleaners, to inform the company when warehouse contract is to be terminated, and for any other related issues. Receive monthly cleaners & companies performance report from each PDP / Field Offices office and provide monthly service confirmation for the Head Office Admin team to facilitate the payment.ย Help identify safety issues and ensuring a safe and sound work environment.ย Perform other operations support related activities.ยRequired Languages - English and Amharic (Skill of Afar language is preferrable)
